The Insight is really pushing the "headlight" limits.

That's stupid and unsafe imho. I've been at the big end of that track with one functional sealed beam headlight at 122+ and it was dark enough to be scary let alone with a flashlight on the hood. That would be a tech fail from me.

That sucks, I really hope they're alright. I was a bit nervous doing drag passes in the Zoomboni, karts don't have the same crash protection as regular cars.

It was (I think the screen name is GoGators) the car from the LS1-Kart thread. I saw him loading the car, he reported no injuries
Looks like fun. Long story short I'd be there but while taxing to the runway I about let loose from both ends. Made it to the bathroom but pilot took me and the wife back to the gate to get off plane. Feel fine now but Friday wasn't great either. So just waiting for when it opens up for next year and try again. Felt fine right up till I didn't. Craziest thing I've had happen to me by far. Didn't even get any grief from the other passengers. Most were glad it didn't happen after we had taken off.

So, whoever bought Sean's Suprang entered it in the challenge? That is berkeleying amaizing and awesome and E36 M3!

I'm working on it this morning. The drag strip was having trouble with their computer so we're working from the 40-year-old dot-matrix printed run log just to be safe.
Looks like a ton of fun, some really cool cars! If anyone happens to have a Challenge car they are selling and are passing through the ATL area on the way back, shoot me a message. Maybe a BMW kart??
I recognize Purple Frog's VW (it's pretty obvious) but I don't know what he looks like. This sort of thing has happened a few times now; recognize the car from the forum, don't know what the owner looks like or how to find them and say hello.
Lot of cool stuff here.
Class changes = less Concours judging, but that pict under the pavilion looks sad. We need more Challenge cars next year!
