Isn't there the storker motor that uses some eta and 'is' parts?
The super-eta had unique even lower compression pistons and an eta cam. It really doesn't sound like anything desirable other than it did have a bit more power than the older eta. Some have built 3.0L M20 strokers using modified M54B30 cranks and pistons.

I thought it was hilarious. What wouldn't have been cool is if he actually sniped the car out from under you.

the SuperETA pistons were unique, but their purpose was to make the 2.7 ETA bottom end work with the same head BMW was putting on the 325i. if BMW had used regular ETA pistons with a 325i head, THEN they would have had lower compression.
i mix and matched junkyard 325i parts into my SuperETA e30 and made 155whp and 163wtq. i also baseline dyno'ed the car beforehand, and the hybrid made more power everywhere including the lower end of the powerband.
I think my wife talked me out of it. Maybe. She's not interested in driving it and suggested that she'd rather have me spend $2500 on the mazda2 instead of dragging another car home. If this listing goes away then I'll just think of what might have been. If it gets listed again, I'm calling.
Thank you to everyone for all of the info, I still want one.
