What? I always heard the w210 E55 was the Accord of the AMG lineup. Most of what I heard about was rust and expensive front pad and rotor changes. What went wrong on yours as I've looked at one, but it was too rusty to consider.
Three racks and brakes.
W211s are a little scary if you don't want expensive repairs, the $3500 brake controller replacement every 150k or so times you apply the brakes seems ridiculous, and I have heard that a lot of them come into the dealer with burned wiring in the trunk for whatever the control module there is called. I agree on the W210 not being near as good as the w126, I drove a w126 for several years, and although the w210 I got to replace it is nice to drive, its way harder to work on and obviously kinda cheaply built.
I guess I'm one of the only people here that actually likes those wheels.
