Early Expedition suspension question.

Apparently, Ford's powdercoating sucked around 99 and 2000, and my buddies Exped has let both rear trailing arms rust into oblivion, one of which is rusted in two.

I haven't found any at a parts house, or Rock Auto, and they went to Ford to see if they could find any, and the parts counter said that it didn't have any trailing arms, that they were lower control arms, but it's not IRS.

Anyway, if and when junkyard scrounging, any particulars I need to look for? When did anything change year to year on these things? Right now they're all sharing another vehicle and need this one back on the road bad.

Bring the vin and the rusted part to the counter and let them explain it. I bet my local P&P has a set. There were a boat load of Expeditions there a while back. My fear is the cash for clunkers may have resulted in them being crushed. I can stop in if and see what they have if you want.
