How does the hive feel about ebay steering wheel hubs? Looking for something for the miata so I can put the new wheel on.

All 5 Miatas I've used that has a detachable wheel used the nrg hub.. is that the one you're talking about? Is so, that works fine.

Curious as well, I have been considering trying an ebay quick release hub myself. Something like this.

I've had that one in my rallycross Miata for ~6 years with no issues.

Just put this one in the challenge car pretty nice for the price. It doesn't seem to match anything else as far as bolt pattern, but it was eady enough to solve. Alsi had to clean all the grease and metal shaving out of it, and repack.

NRG hubs are good quality and near no-name Ebay Chinese prices.

Just make sure to use loctite on the fasteners and check them periodically.

The twist to lock versions tend to stay put a bit better and wear less than the squeeze to release versions.

Im not planning on running a quick release. Just the hub.
