Anyone know a reputable business that rebuilds OE engine control modules? Like ones from the late '80's. It's for a less common Dodge so finding a direct replacement isn't too likely. Rebuilding the original is probably the best option.

It's not for me. I'd be talking to Matt about a Megasquirt if it were.

Beckmann Technologies http://www.beckmanntechnologies.com/index.php specializes in Mercedes stuff but has been known to do others from time to time. If they can't do yours, maybe they can point you in the right direction.

There's also ProGrama http://www.programainc.com/default.aspx who do other brands, again they may not cover your unit etc.

Just wrap the MS in the crappy OEM wrapper.

If it were mine that would be the plan. I keep a spare to gut for just such occasions .

This is for a friend of a friend type who wants to keep it original.
