The lowers I can figure out. Seems like a simple bolt in piece.
But what about the top ones? Do I need to buy a new upper a-arm?

According to Mazda, yes.
But wait! says Moog. If you have an NA, we have just the part you need.
Do tack weld them in, I've seen them blow out the top of the arm.
Is that Moog part the same one that V8 Roadsters sell?

I've got a pair of those Moog upper ball joints waiting for me to set my press up. Thanks for the warning that I should tack weld it too.
Thank you Keith.
Any Canuck residents familiar with where to buy such a thing? Can I just walk into NAPA and give them a part #?
I am going to guess that MOOG also have the lower balljoints?
It might have been a set of the V8R ones that came out of the top of the arm. Regardless, welding is recommended.
MOOG stuff is usually pretty easy to find. It would be worth calling NAPA to start. There have been reports of problems with the lowers from some alternate sources, I'd probably go to Mazda for those.
Here in Canada, I just picked up the Moog uppers from RockAuto. I don't even consider the auto parts stores at this point.
