ZOMG 7AGE BLACKTOP 20V STROKER WITH A 6SPD, COILOVERS, SOME NICE 15X8S WRAPPED IN 225/45-15 RIVALS, TINT, SWAY BARS, AND A NICE EXHAUST.
Whew... that's better.
Been awhile since i've had a Toyota to play with. Want.
I was wondering if it'd be you or me to say that first. I guess it was you.
sell it to me, I could drive it until it crumbles to a pile of rust because that's the only thing that will stop it.
If you sell it to me here in the south rust would never touch it. I'd drive it until my kids reached driving age and then they'd probably kill it which would make everyone sad. I'd still like it.
We were given an 05 Focus by my wife's great uncle (at 93 years old) for $1. Beige auto rental type old man car sedan. Drove it about 6 months then used that to trade for a 02 Jetta 1.8t wagon as we have 3 dogs. Have had that for 3 years. Now getting Astro van to replace the wagon. All thanks to a nebbishy old WW2 vet!
Thanks for the enthusiasm guys. I'll make a spruce-up thread when I take possession of the car.
I found some Enkei-esque 14" gold mesh wheels on the local CL for a reasonable price. I photoshopped them onto the car to get an idea...Too much gold? What do you guys think?
I'm probably the only person who thinks those wheels would look good with White Letter tires.
I love raised white letters, miss them on cars these days

What?
Definitely. See if you can find some period-appropriate 90s gold-colored tint to go on it.
I actually would spray those wheels silver or dark gray, maybe mask the lip first so it stays silver if you go dark.
Miata daisys do happen to look good on those, at least on the sedans. Same center bore too. I haven't seen the later Miata wheels on one though.
Black mesh with a polished lip. Makes everything pop.
Hmmm, did she look like this?

That car already has what I'd want in an econo beater. It has a roof rack, a lot of cargo space, enough room for 4 adults in relative comfort, and the reliability of a boulder. Shine it up, put those 92s on it, and drive it for the next 400 years.

Ooof. Paint them. Not black, too much for an auto Toyota.
This is why I always tell people I like their car, and to think of me if they get rid of it. You never know...

My friend is dating a Polish girl, and I recall her saying that whenever she sends something back home to Poland, she sends three in the box. That way, the Customs/postal employees can each steal one and she can still have one reach her parents.
Granted, she could have been bullE36 M3ting us.
