I remember when I used to rag on Pacesetter because they were cheap, but like previously stated, painted or wrapped should be fine. I'd make the purchase.

Coat them or wrap them and take care of the darn things and they're just as good as any other entry-level header. That said, their exhaust systems *suck*. They sound horrible and sometimes make less power. Bleh. Headers are fine though. They fit well enough (on a KA24 anyway) and make power.
FWIW, they do sell real coated headers as well, but they aren't as cheap. Nobody buys them because they're more expensive, then they bitch when they rust out because they were too tightwad to buy something that lasts.

Do not wrap them. Coat them. Or see if they have your header already coated in their inventory. I can get KL headers already coated from them.
Just bring your painted one to a local ceramic coater. It's often cheaper than the factory coatings (cost not quality) and you can get different finishes (like black or white) instead of just the polished/chrome look.

I wrapped the plain steel painted Racing Beat header on my RX-7 and had no issues, and everybody knows rotaries are the hardest on exhaust. Get the real stuff (DEI) and follow the directions. Racers use the stuff for a reason...
