Thought i'd post a link to my engine setback project for a V8 powered Rx-7. I did it for drag racing, but there are probably quite a few other projects that could benefit from something like this to help balance the car. enh. its a rx7, its all really been done before already, now if it was a rotary awd car, now that would be something.

If I wanted to build an AWD rotary RX-7, setting the engine back would be the 1st thing i'd do...

I assume you're the granny of Granny's speed shop? If so, then digdug may want to take a look at the rest of the site. Regardless, that's a big undertaking- I'd be interested to see what kind of gains you'll see. Amazing that it takes that much setback to get the engine behind front wheel centerline.
