Tell me more about the source of these 15x8 & 15x10" rims. I need some for my E/Dmod tires for the MG but in 15x8, 15x12..

Quote from Bill Cardell, owner of Flyin' Miata after his first ride in the MG: "You have to love a level of acceleration that makes you nauseous."
In reply to nocones:

Search "wheels".
Select size, bolt pattern, material, design.
Purchase.
Profit.
Mine came to $360 shipped.
In reply to Giant Purple Snorklewacker:
Yep. Do it. Just leave your GRM login information with your next of kin, so when you are hospitalized/killed during the testing phase, someone can update us.

There is no testing phase - I'm already late getting it rolling but I'm signed up to race it at WGI in May and NJMP in June :)

Very much It's the incongruity factor. Also, that engine seems to be particularly lusty.
My Subaru-swapped VW will also help induce nausea, but that has more to do with the altitude of the CG.

You know it's a good 'un when your passenger E36 M3s YOUR pants.
I had a lot of fun with this:
5.3L, T56, 4.10s on stock 185mm whitewalls. I could stab the throttle on the highway in 4th and get sideways. Making the passenger E36 M3 themselves was easy. I sometimes had to worry about E36 M3ting myself.

this needs its own thread. threads. website?
You learned that its more fun, and practical in a street setting, to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. My fun car makes maybe 60hp at the flywheel and puts it to the ground through 145mm tires, it never ceases to put a smile on my face (when it wants to run).

Here, hear. 85 flywheel horsepower and 165mm tires here. A veritable monster by comparison!
As many will attest... i drive like a grandma on the street 99.99% of the time no matter what i'm driving.
I just like KNOWING that i have the capability to go to warp speed.
I daily drive a 300whp+ (Shooting for 400whp this summer) 2500lb car that during the nice months is wearing some 245 width ST-class rubber.
Do i really get into the boost more than once a week? Nah. I just like knowing it's there.
Apparently, my wife took it out the other day unsupervised, forgot she didn't have to floor it to merge into traffic and wound up facing the wrong direction.
I'll get the new rubber under it, update the suspension expendables, throw in a set of sway bars and a chin spoiler, and I ought to be in good shape.
If its cooperating on the weekend of April 6th, I may take it to the first autocross and run XP for the lulz.
