Yes, the the sides are silly - but they are exactly as wide as the tires. I plan to use some sheet ABS to make flares.

The spoiler & sides extends back to the subframe as all one sheet to flat bottom the car and hopefully create negative pressure. It is attached to standoffs on the rad support, to the fiberglass bumper (which I'm sure is a mistake I'll regret the first time I need to use the grass) and tangs on the subframe.
