I'm wondering if anyone can suggest an easily found, commonly available epoxy that might be better than JB Weld. The application is a load bearing, but not critical/dangerous, as well it is metal to metal if that helps. I will most likely put a few tack welds around the perimeter, but just want to make sure that things don't come undone. Quick setting would be nice, but all out strength is much more important.

If you've got a welder, why not just weld the entire seam?

Belzona is the best of the crap i've seen. But not cheap and if your going to need to count on it dont waste your $$ fix it right.

Yeah, weld around the edges, a plug weld or two, better than JB Weld. Otherwise, 3M VHB tape is pretty darn good stuff too. You'll likely rip the metal before that lets loose. At least with sheet aluminum.
