Garage picture
Well I sold my Locost and the new owner came and picked it up on Sunday. This allowed me to move the Europa into the garage and get started.
So far I've stripped the frame and sent it to the sandblaster, it should be ready for pick up later today. All of the front suspension bits have been disassembled, sandblasted and painted. I've ordered suspension bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends so once I finish painting the frame I'll be able to start bolting bits back on.
I've attached a picture of the frame and body sitting in my garage but it's my first attempt at attaching an image so please forgive me if I screw up.

The picture didn't quite work, but the link does lead to a small pic of the garage. Looks like a good start. You are much farther than me

You and I seem to be on the same path, at the same point in the progress!
What motor are you using? What year/model is the car? You doing a restoration, a Challenger, or what?

I'm using a Toyota 4AGE engine and a Renault transaxle. It's a 1969 S2. I'm setting it up for Solo Sprint competition. I don't think that I'll be able to keep it under the $2010 value but I'm going to give it a shot.
I sent you a note a week or so ago about a set of rear suspension bits that a friend mine has for sale

The Locost was cool and a ton of fun but I'd been driving it for 6 years. If you include the 18 months that I spent building it was a long relationship. I was considering putting a full cage on it to make it a bit safer on the track but I hate the look of a Seven with a full cage.

Woa- I missed that note.
Would you mind re-sending it? I'm needing them quick.
