I've seen a lot of reference to JDM importation over the years but can't remember seeing anyone recommending a source for European parts.  Any suggestions?

Euro parts for what brand?  This guy has a pretty good reputation for BMW cars and parts.  https://www.e28.nl/en/

Cool -give me a minute to find the guys card.  Chandler is also a watercooled VW guy.  What are you hunting for?

Hmm, a B5 Passat TDI manual transaxle could allow for some fun mid engine TDI power.

For hard-to-find German parts, there’s Guten Parts & Service in Maplewood, NJ.

For help with importing entire cars, there’s Will Zaraska in Toronto, ONT.

I've ordered Euro motorcycle parts from suppliers in the UK before. They arrived quicker than I got additional parts from a US supplier 200 miles away.

Getting parts from the UK - where they often source them from the Continent - is usually pretty easy as everybody is set up to take credit cards and/or PayPal anyway. Not sure how the Brexit E36 M3 show is going to affect that, though.

Getting parts from Germany can be a bit more difficult as they have a different payment culture over there - pretty much everybody in Germany pays by bank transfer. Only companies that actually do a reasonable amount of business with orders from other countries will also have the ability to accept credit cards, although that's becoming more common.
