Man, I'd like to have a non rusty 2 door 510.

been trying on and off for several years to buy my dad's 4 speed, 63 corvette with the 340 hp solid lifter engine. Wouldn't be necessarily a great deal (surely would cost plenty) but it has so far eluded me.

Two springs ago, a neighbor one street over was having a yard sale. I saw the sale on the way to a 8:30 soccer game and figured I would catch it on the way back. Big mistake.

Coming around the corner two hours later I saw an outlander shoving a small motorcycle onto a truck. And then I saw the chrome tank. He'd scored a Dirt Squirt and a Trail 70 for $75.00 only 300 yards from my house. The owner also had a Benelli that sold earlier. None of them had run in 30 years, had gnawed wires, etc., but my heart still sank. I did get an kickass homelite xl112 that is still running for $10.00 and a catcher's mitt for $1.00

My across the street neighbor best neighbor ever needed to haul some 'junk' from his mom's garage. She was elderly and was moving to assisted living. When he brought the keys and Heineken back I asked him if he needed the truck again. He said, "No... I got the big items out of the way. The rest could go in his car tomorrow." It turns out that one of the big items was his old orange CB350 from college, donated to the Kidney Foundation. Fart.

I missed the late 70's. Almost entirely.
