do you work on canoes too? cause "we" in a shop with a lift doesnt equal doing an engine swap by yourself

It's very easy to do by yourself with the method mentioned.

I couldnt count the times. Get a good cherry-picker and yes, a balancer. Most of the stuff is over-built for our projects since it is intended for old school American V8's. Even the stuff at the cheapie tool sales will work.
The big thing in my experience is disconnecting all the various bolts and electrical connectors. Once you have done a car one time, you know what to have at the ready to do the job. My EGT was the worst. Only an inch or so clearance on either side. Rotaries were the easiest.
