Been digging for a new daily, got offered a 67K mile 2007 Green/Tan LS460 in a strange trade. Out of pocket cost to me is going to 11.8-12.4K give or take based on what I have into the parts. I am going to without a daily car or really any car that I can use Monday-Friday in about two weeks and I have been looking at some stranger VIP style older stuff. 2008ish Bentley Flying Spurs around 45-50K mainly.
I need to make a decision soon and well every cheap Bentley and Ghost I have seen at auction is kind of a gamble. A one owner never hit fully serviced LS460 though may fit the bill for 6 months or so. any insight. I realy like the look of it and the seats fit me which is rare.
I am interested in hearing about this too. These are pretty high on my list of wants for a nice lux daily.
If you buy it, let me know when you sell it. I might be interested in taking it off your hands.
Would love to have Bentley or a Ghost but not so much as a daily. Bet you couldn’t go wrong with the Lexus.
One of my neighbors dailys a Bentley. I saw him hauling his trash to the dump in it on Tuesday.
Because... Connecticut.
That looks like a nice place to spend some time.

They’re good, solid cars. My dad put 90ish k on one, including a baseball size hail storm and getting rear ended by an accord that lost its brakes on an off ramp. After the wreck, the auto open/close on the trunk still worked perfectly. Around here they’re around 15k which is a lot of car for the money

Those had a valve spring recall, which should have been done by now. Mostly solid cars, not as reliable as the LS430 or 400 in my opinion.
There is a abs/trac/vsc computer mounted directly above the drivers exhaust manifold, I saw a few of those high dollar units fail over my years at the dealer
Also of note, the starter, if it ever fails is a pain in the ass to get out.
That said. These cars will happily maintain 100mph in absolute comfort till you run out of will, or fuel. They are THE ideal highway cruiser.
