Hey guys,
How did this model miss me when they came out. I have never heard f this before, but the other day I drove by the local Ford dealer, and saw this bad ass looking Sport Trac out front. I just looked up what it is on their site, and it is a red Adrenaline with 13k miles on the clock. It is a sweet looking truck!!! It is out of my budget thankfully, but I wish it weren't.
Are these as cool as they appear on the surface? The spec look great, and if I had the money I would consider it. Thoughts?
Chris
My wife and I drove past one and she said "Oh I see you in that."
She just will not let me have the money.

My friend owns one, loves it.
It's a very well thought-out truck, even has the option for the 3V 4.6L and/or 4wd...
I have an 02 Sport trac and I have to say its a great vehicle.
Now I really want this truck!! The one local is $27k!!! Damn I need to play the lottery!!!
I can't seem to be able to build one on Ford's Website however. Are they still available new? I would love one in white!!
I think I am going to attempt a test drive later today. Wish me luck,or not as I really can't afford it.

The Adrenaline is just body colored bumpers and a sound system. We sold a white 04 with 45k for $14000 and a silver 04 with 80k for $8000 deals are out there

Yeah, it's sad, because the original use of that name was going to be an SVT SportTrac Adrenaline using a supercharged DOHC 4.6 backed by a six speed. I believe it was supposed to be AWD, too, but I'm not sure what transfercase Ford could get their hands on that would hold up to that kind of torque during drag launches.
Basically a slightly smaller, faster, four-door Lightning.

I like it, I much like you saw one on the highway passing by and did a total double take, had to go home and look it up, can't believe the rarity/cost of them though, for that price I'd rather have a F150 crew cab + options...

I am confused now. You say it is nothing fancy, but this is the one local to me,and it looks like more than just a set of body colored bumpers, and a sound system. It has a 4.6 litre, and is AWD according to the ad.

Where the earlier ones just simple body upgrades, and the later ones the AWD V8's?

An AWD V8 Explorer is nothing special, Sport Trac or not. Most Explorers are AWD (technically 4WD), and the 4.6 has been optional in them for years.

Different bumpers, grill, running boards, exhaust, much better looking wheels, suspension, leather interior, etc. If someone put a gun to my head and made me buy a ford, it'd probably be one of these.
