Agreed with the sentiments but still happy to see the creative course. The season has been fantastic this year with lots of shakeups and team drama as per normal. I was really psyched to see my boy Kimi doing well but the team seems to have the focus on Vettel to his detriment.
I hate to admit it, but I haven't followed it at all this year. If I had cable or dish and could watch qualifying and the races I would, but since I can't watch the races, I just haven't followed it. I was surprised when Alonzo was at Indy instead of Monaco this year, but haven't even bothered to find out why.
WEC raced there last year and the race was aired tape delayed here. The race was held in the fall and it just looked like such a drab dreary place. Maybe it's a bit nicer in the summer.

I know it's practice, but the lack of living people is striking. I am really enjoying how the track is challenging everyone.

Alonzo looked really pissed off and the crew shots in the pits they all looked like people that are worried about there jobs.
I was invited to come work the even but the lack of reasonable travel options sucked. They only draw 20-30K spectators and the GOVT foots most of the bills. Kind of sad with the drop of the price of oil, the economy is in decline. Enough of being el politico.
I like the course. Probably driving the aero guys nuts. Set up for the long straights and handling goes away in the twisty stuff. Set up to get the best handling in the twisty part and you are slow on the fast stuff.

With a Honda donkey in the back you can sacrifice both!
