And they say F1 is boring because there's no passing. That was definitely uncalled for. It also brings to mind the old adage 'to finish first, first you must finish'.
The view from alonso's car was pretty scary. Grosjean's car was about 2 feet from alonso's head. That could have been much much worse. I was bummed to see Hamilton get caught up in it too.
The real exciting part of that race was kimi's pass on schumi in en rouge. That was awesome!
Grosjean has done more than his share of crashing this year, and maybe watching his F1 seat go by from the sidelines will actually calm him down. That can't be a good feeling.
On the other hand, the race for the title has tightened up significantly...
When I first saw it I figured it was caused by Hamilton still pouting about his poor choice of wing, but then I saw the replays. Not Hamilton's fault (this time). I was laughing at him carrying his wing back to the pits. I figured he wanted to tell the boys that it was their fault for giving him that wing and the resultant grid position.
Kimi's pass was awesome.

Do you charge Hamilton for all the space he occupies in your dome?
I forgot about him toting that wing all the way back... Why'd he DO that?
The other end-plate was presumably out there somewhere.
It sure looked like Hamilton when he came back on track, hit Groesjean up the rear at full throttle and then pushed him down the track and never lifted. How else do you explain all that momentum?
"But as I say it is not always the same. It's not over-aggressive by braking 200 metres too late, it's just most of the time misjudgement of the space I have in front or the space I have on the side."
This is his explanation as to what he did. It must be in the translation to English as it sure does not make him sound qualified to be driving an F1 car

It's hard to brake when the front wheels are off the ground.
I fully expect Speed/Fox to whore out that incident in every promo clip montage for the next few years.
Pretty good race overall, even if no one could touch first except Button. Which, I must admit, was good to see after such a lackluster season for him (I'm a fan). I would have preferred if Alonso had been a part of the action though.

agreed. The aerial view of that pass was incredible.
