He is VERY accurate with his mileage. It is EXACTLY 107 miles, not 107.6. Heck, not even 107.61 miles but 107!!

I think the seller is just lazy in regards to this truck.. if that is the case, I would have to inspect it very carefully before I even considered buying it (Which I wouldn't as I am not in the market for a truck)
That's pretty much the roundabout point I was trying to get at
. I probably should have posted that whole thing in the grammar Nazi thread rather than here. Txtspk simply irritates the bejesus out of me.
To the point at hand. Wouldn't those lambo doors make getting in and out of the truck hard?
If you're going to be a grammar Nazi, you should probably try to suck less at writing. I'm no English professor, but you've got a pile of grammatical errors in your posts. "Spellcheck" can't help with lack of punctuation or your penchant for ending sentences with a preposition. You're not as smart as you think you are, and neither am I. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/wink-18.png)

You'd appreciate what Oxford and Merriam Webster have to say on the subject of ending sentences with prepositions.

You'll also notice there there is indeed a period behind the wink. That has something with the board formatting moved it all around and I didn't catch it.
I know my punctuation is more reflective of speech patterns than that of hard and fast rules of the English language. I do not have a single problem admitting that is the case. My initial point was that you should at the very least run a spell check so that prospective buyers do not need to translate the ad more than is necessary. I am not quite sure how it snowballed how I believe that the English language should be adhered to in its purest form and everyone should be an literary major. I'm sure as E36 M3 not.

You meant "There ARE probably several grammatical errors..." right?

I'm no grammar nazi and definitely not an English major but I disagree with the thought that this person is an immigrant. I'm married to an immigrant, my wife is Korean and English is a second language for her. Although she speaks as much English as she wants too, her English writing skills have a lot to be desired and that is nothing like her writing. As for spellcheck, there are a lot of text editor/programs out that doesn't have spellcheck (here for example) and not everyone has or thinks to use a program like MS Word or equivalent to write/copy/paste. Besides the fact that all of us (me very much included) rely on spellcheck so much. Everytime I see this style of writing I think either too much texting or from the wrong side of the tracks (for lack of a more PC way to say it). The dropout rate I heard recently is ridiculously high but seeing that writing I wouldn't doubt it.

Silly question ....
Ah, I see...
I guess its my own bias that makes me think:
F250 = Work truck (or at least tow vehicle).
and 1/2 ton and smaller pickups would be more likely to be customized.

Also, he's buying a tow truck. Last time I checked, forward thinking upwardly mobile entrepreneurs did not identify that business sector as the path to eternal riches.
Poorly educated immigrants however.........
The guy I used to work for got pretty rich with a few tow trucks. .
