Bill Riddell drove one of the coolest SCCA GT-1 cars to victory at the Central Florida Region SARRC races this past weekend.
Dave & Dillon Machavern and Riddell in the sister car probably have the two fastest Falcon's anywhere.

Not only the fastest, but maybe the best looking too..
Great accomplishment, but at this point, isn't calling it a Falcon kinda like calling a NASCAR racer a "stock car" ?

Yes, OK..."Falcon Look"
The blue Machavern car was featured in GRM a year or so ago.

Nope. Those are full-on GT1 cars.

I remember seeing the blue car in GRM, but didn't know there were two of them. Someone needs to build one for the street.
Love, love, love.
Those are bad ass. More info and lots of pix please!!!
I was paddocked directly across from the blue car at the SCCA SARRC/MARRS race at VIR earlier this season. Until you see the car w/ the bodywork stripped off it isn't possible to understand how utterly badass this car is.
It's like if NASA decided to develop the Mercury project into a race car rather than the Gemini program.

Both cars are built to SCCA GT-1 specs with:
- Roush Cup motors of about 840 HP
- Jerico 5 speeds
- 9 inch Ford Nascar rear ends
- Penske shocks
- big 6 piston Cup brakes up front and big 4 piston in rear
- CCW wheels I believe
- 2780 # with driver after the race
- Goodyear 16x14 inch wide rubber
- tubular chassis designed and built by Riggins Eng in Jax, Fl
