Our LeMons car has gone under the knife a bit lately, but we seem to be emerging from the other side of the tunnel; last night I fired the engine up for the first time in a year.
RUUUUUUMMMMMM!

Who else is gonna be there....so we can have that awkward situation where I totally remember you, your face, your race car and what we talked about last year...but can't remember your name?
Still gotta finish re-doing the exhaust...

I'll be there....in something that runs...a least some of the time. Currently none of our menagerie of crap race cars is ready, but we'll get it figured out. Probably either the Honda Civic or a Ford Fiesta, which looks cheaty but is slow AF.
We are out for this fall but are planning a two car team for the spring race. I may ride up Saturday and hang out though.
The Toyocedes has received a fresh coat of paint and we have a super cheaty guest driver. It'll be my first race since the Kim Harmon Scrotium 500 and I'm pretty excited!
Oh, man. I wish I could make it. This'll be my second year with no racing but the second kid really killed my "free" time. You guys have fun, and I'll daydream about going.

Mrs. VCH has really gone over and above in terms of her patience and putting up with my race car work. I've been kicking it in the garage after the little VCH's hit the sack until about 10:30, and 5 or 6 hours a day on the weekends. It's a rough schedule, and stuff's sort-of falling apart in the house, but it'll hold up till after the race. At which point I expect to dump the race car off in the woods, under a tarp, and not even think about it until the calendar has a '9' at the end of the year.
We'll pour a little out on Turn 1 for you.

CMP is about 3.5 hours from me. Maybe I'll go and spectate.

This will be the first year in a while that I’ll miss this one, the parade is a good time.
Chrissy and I are getting married that day, and that’s about the only thing that would keep us away from a race.
In reply to Sonic :
Seems like a good reason to _go_ to a race. Nothing says "love me forever" like getting hitched at a race track!
My first race ever at CMP included a wedding officiated by Jay. It's a beautiful tradition.
This event and the Mitty are the only two racing events that I would attend every year, even if I weren't driving.
