If anyone has any firsthand experience with the Fast Cars Inc. TR6 frame, please send me a PM.

No experience with the tr frame. Their mgb v8 subframe is a nice piece (on the spendy side for me). Ted's a good fabricator.

Thanks oldtin. Might be too much $ for me as well...

Yeah... I've looked at that site off and on for years... and they've never posted a price list, which generally means, "if you have to ask...."

Not sure what your plans are, but there's rat-co as well:

...which has links for price lists, but they doesn't work. However, they go to Carlisle every May and set up a booth and IIRC, the frames run around $3600, give or take.

Yup, I've looked at that one too. The Fast Cars frame appeals to me because of the suspension and brakes already engineered and installed as well as the 302 and T5 mounts. It's beefed up for the extra power as well. I'd be buying and fabbing those parts anyways, so the Fast Cars frame becomes a little more affordable then.

I'm glad daydreaming is free or I'd be in debtors prison.

V8 TR-6 been on my dream list too. Spent a lotta time oogling that FC chassis page... nice fab work. For that kinda money tho I'd be lookin' at fabbing my own.
