Tekonsha P2 or P3?

When I asked several years ago the consensus was the P2 over the P3, but I don't remember why? Is that still true? It looks like the P3 is around $120 while the P2 is about 1/2 that.

Are there any other units now I should consider?

I have a P3 now and used to have a P2. For the price difference, I would save the money and get the P2. Both worked great for me.

I've been using the Pod for the last decade or so in the van, the motorhome, and now the GL.  It was easy to install, works well, and one unit has been working for a pretty long time with no problems.

I have the p3.  It’s a great controller.

I've got the P3 and I'm happy with it. Got a really good deal on it a couple years ago.

I've got a P3 in the Jeep and have used one in a friend's F-150.  It's definitely a great controller and the controls are well designed too (as far as setting it how you want and knowing how it's set).
