Sadly no, but I do have a 98 Saturn SL2 and a 88 MX6 GT

And I have no problems using mine. I see cars just fine in them.

That's just because that car looks good, if it looked like that and were on the doors it would be better for sure.

That's where my mirror is on my '62 MGA MKII. It's a Talbot, though. I think it looks great and functions very well.
fender mounted mirrors are a PITA to adjust … but on LOTS of cars I love the look … and they do a lot to eliminate the blind spots that door mounted mirrors have …
example: I can't get the drivers side mirror to point away from the car far enough to eliminate the blind spot …
but I'll be the first to admit that on some cars fender mounts look like E36 M3
I like fender mounted mirrors when they are appropriate to the vehicle. Although not mounted quite so far forward like in some of the examples in this thread.
I mounted Kawasaki ZX6R mirrors to my old 4Runner so I still had mirrors when I took the doors off.
The fenders mounts were to put the mirror in the swept area of the wiper. It think it is (or was) law in Japan.

Mine are appropriate AND located in factory location.
Not all cars look good with them, such as Jensen Healeys. I'm split on their utility, but am a firm believer that EVERY car should have two side mirrors. My JH had just one when I bought it, it immediately got two of the BL 'flag' type mirrors and the hell with the purists.
I learned to drive on an '85 Daihatsu Mira. Looked like this, but red:
With such a tiny car, the fender mirrors made it look like an insect. This Suzuki Alto has a similar look:
It was cute.
I love the look, but only on some cars.
I think the fender mounts look great on your car. They signal it is something unique, and the fact that they are original to the car also scores a few points.
The door mounts on that car look like any other cheap E36 M3 you can buy at AutoZone.
For some reason, mounted so far forward on the triumph they make me think of diplomat flags
Which just makes me think of Dukes car
In any case the vintage Raydots I have are earmarked for the Fiat and would look weird on the Triumph.
