A friend asks: I need to find a starter for a 1982 Fiat Spider 124. I sent her to International Auto Parts, but no joy there. Since I don't generally do Italian, anyone help?

I use these guys for Yugo parts, as I understand it, they primarily deal in 124 bits. http://www.spiderroadster.com/

Midwest Bayless is another name that comes to mind. http://www.midwest-bayless.com/storefrontprofiles/default.aspx?sfid=208227

You might also try Rock Auto, the carry a lot of older starter/alternator/water pump type parts. Rockauto.com

Enthusiast owned Auto Ricambi is who I would recommend.

Modern Denso gear reduction starters

Passed along, thanks. Though I do have to admit, I am wondering how she got a Spider without my hearing about it?
