Ford didn't do that, they subbed that work out to Kar Kraft. Which is why every Boss 429 has a KK number.

Okay, Kar Kraft did it, but still, that motor is really squeezed in there. Pity the Boss 429 was more bark than bite (in street trim)
I'm waiting for the day they put one of those twin turbo V6s in the Mustang instead of just the turbo 4. But I doubt they will, as it'll make the V8 look bad (unless they swap the 5.0 for the 6.2, but IIRC, that thing is iron block and heavy).
