You can turn off everything except the brake-operated fake LSD.

And that is a good thing IMO.  A powerful engine in a light front driver with an open diff is just screaming to break the diff pin after excessive single wheel spinnage.

SAAB and Volvo's traction control only kicked in if the front wheels were spinning at different rates.  You could spin the tires until the fuel tank ran dry as long as both tires were spinning the same speed.

It's not a good thing for track work. Constantly using the brakes even when coming out of coming means fade city, and pad life is greatly decreased.

My Pagid RSL2s came in for the Camaro. I got to use them for the first time at Blackhawk yesterday and they were brilliant. They don’t seem to make them for the Fiesta, but the Camaro is the primary track car anyway. Again, the only reason at all that the Fiesta saw the track was because the Camaro pads hadn’t arrived yet.

That all depends on your priorities.  Brake pads are cheap and easy to change.  Sticking a side gear to the diff pin from single tire spin generally results in the pin breaking free in the diff case and sliding out, destroying the transmission case at best.  (Imagine a weedwhacker, but instead of a little piece of plastic lanyard, it has a 5/8" or so diameter hardened steel rod, and it is connected to the wheels so whatever gets in its way is going to lose that battle...)
