It's TOO MUCH GODDAMN MONEY! $10k upcharge for a sport package on a $15K car is too freakin EXPENSIVE!! I could maybe see paying $10k for a sports package on a $40k car, but not on a car with a $14k base price. It's just insanity. I could see maybe $4-5k, but come on, just stop it already.
It's a pretty comprehensive "sports package"...

In reply to Vigo:
The GM faux twins got a very good differential as an option......and they don't wheel hop like the srt does.
I am patiently watching these fiestas, as I see the new st as a replacement for my nearly finished '01 fukus.....I am glad ford has deemed fit to supply us with hot hatches again.
Latest report, dealers will have them mid to late August.
Oh, that passenger seat is a stock Fiesta with the head rest pulled up. they are adjustable.
Looks like the passenger was taking a knap.

Yikes! I didn't see that part. For $10k they could have made it right wheel drive.

Actually guys, it's a $5350 difference when compared to the similarly-equipped-except-not-ST "SE" model. I'm not sure the absolute base "S" is a fair comparison, but even then the difference is $6800, not $10K. At least that's what the Ferd site says for 'mericans.
The MSRP on the ST is $21,400, not $25K. As always with stealerships, YMMV.
You're welcome.

Addendum - looks like if you option it out with the fancy paint and $2K Recaros it ends up near $25K.
