So my car has a XM antenna on it, I want to remove it but it will leave a small hole. Is there some kind of plug I could use to fill this hole?

If you can get to it from the inside, take a piece of aluminum can and JB Weld it to the back of the hole. then take some JB weld and fill the hole form above. Sand and touch up paint as necessary.

Nylon screw with a dab of caulk.   File most of the head off once tight.

The heavy duty aluminum tape they sell in the HVAC dept if Lowes makes a great semi-permanent body patch for stuff like that.  Also works great as a backer to fill on top of.

+1

I've been known to do this on customer cars with coins from their ashtray.

At least three firewall holes were sealed on Wreck Racing's challenge Insight with pennies JB welded over them.

If you have a decent hardware store nearby, go there and ask about rubber hole plugs - they may have something that would fit that hole.  Otherwise get online and do some searching.  I suspect you could get something from a place that sells grommets, and/or from an electronics parts house like Mouser, Digi-Key or Newark.

On a serious note you could probably clean it up, dab of paint, and then a rubber insert from the auto parts store.

I used the same to fix a couple holes in a friend's aluminum Jon boat.

what ever you do, refrain from using silicone. If you ever need to repaint the roof (or car) it's contamination will make it very difficult to get paint to stick there
