...like farts: best kept brief, unintentional, and a prelude to something really big happening.
My grandfather, after hearing tires squealing down the road in front of his house: "So what are they trying to prove? Stanley Steamers used to be able to burn through a set of tires without even trying!"
...best when already in motion.
Call me a child(seriously, I won't be offended. I know I am) but a rolling burnout for 50 or so feet on the 1-2 shift always tickles my fancy. Heck, a little sideways shimmy doing the left onto a freeway onramp immediately kicks a childish giggle from my face.

Apropos of the "car so fast it scared you" thread, I still recall riding in a BGN that got squirrely-sideways rolling on the throttle at 80mph, because I-480 is asphalt.

...sitting on a school bus right now singing the same Iron Maiden lyrics to themselves over and over
"Not a prisoner, I'm a free man, and my blood is my own now"
"I'm runnin' free yeah, I'm runnin' free"

I worked on formulating another one, along these lines:
Powersliding is to drifting as deer hunting is to war
Never been to war, myself
