I ran my first event in the Fiesta yesterday. After being in Street Mod for so long, the slowest stock class on OEM tires was a bit of a letdown, but the car performed well and was fun to drive. I ended up 8th on the PAX overall and took a class win by 2 seconds.

Officially jealous! In a perfect world I'd have one in my garage right now, they just tick all the right boxes for me and I love the way they drive. It seems like the e-diff worked pretty well, I didn't notice you fighting too much inside wheelspin?

That's a killer site. Car looks like a hoot too.
More importantly, I can't believe you guys are racing already. Color me and the rest of the snow-belt crew an extra dark shade of "envy green".
Those OEM tires really like to communicate. Looks like a blast!
Welcome, you have officially been FiSTED! (we really need to work on a better saying) Such an odd course for us parking lot guys, the U-turn at the end was the only part I recognized! The OEM tires offer decent grip (140 rated) but be warned that the shoulder shredded at under 5,000 miles on mine. Hard cornering is not kind to them.

I noticed the power cut back briefly coming out of the tighter turns, but it didn't hurt much. Less effect than wheelspin would have had on it.

I don't have the original tires on it; they were replaced sometime just before I bought it, perhaps by the dealer, with some Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in size 215/45-17 (a bit larger than stock) that have a 300 treadwear rating.
