Ouch! Stopped still and lady backs across the road to hit me! Did not make my day.
Looks like I get to drive a Fiat 500 for a month while it gets fixed.

ouch. I had something similar happen just after I took the drive-out tag off my Mustang in 05. Except it involved a deer and most of the side of the car.
At least it was only cosmetic damage, right?

Chuck Norris dinged my car....
That'll buff out.....
My dad's a tv repairman. He's got an awesome set of tools. We can totally fix this.......
But Seriously, sorry to see your baby get un-newed.
Of course the Fiat is an auto, this is North America.
The initial time estimate was "at least two weeks" so I am not going to expect it back too soon. Hit hard enough that they want to put it on the rack and check.

Well Since awful seems to be the theme for the day, I did not want to wreck the trend.
That said, the Fiat is a lot more interesting than some of the other Kias and Hyundais that were on offer.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some unibody damage behind that fender, but it shouldn't be too serious. A couple hour set up on the rack, and a pull or two at most.
In reply to NOHOME:
no the Kia optima and Hyundai almost anything is more interesting then a retro styled slush box thimble.
Rental related, I may or may not have broken another Chrysler product at Road America this weekend.
In reply to Mr_Clutch42:
Well technically there is just a small ding in the door. It's the fender that he didn't mention
Hopefully she's back to new real soon!

This is Canada. Technically this was a "body check"
!
Ya that ding on the door does not look so bad.. . . On a side note are you getting a new door skin as well or are you letting them put bondo on it
That sucks. Sorry about the whole mess (getting your new car hit and getting saddled with a Fiat as a rental.)
For whatever reason the guy at the shop said the words "new door" Not sure why that would be required. As to "letting them put filler in" its not like they ask.
Anyways, the way it works here is I get to pick the shop I want and it is at one I like. The company was on its way to sending me to one of their preferred shops before I cut them off at the pass. So lets see where it goes.
FYI bodyshop rates are now over $100/hour, so this is not going to be cheap!

She hit you, presumably her insurance is paying for it? If so, they ought to be renting you something better than a Fiat 500. They're supposed to "make you whole", and driving a non-equivalent vehicle for a month doesn't count.
