I would love to have one if these.....but I'm in Australia now.
That's not a crazy fly and drive, right?

I like the way you think.
One went by with a rumbling v8 that sounded wonderful.
And hey , usd to aud is great now. $50 and it's bought lol
I saw one of these here in the states a couple of months back, Midwest, but I can't remember where, (driving a truck at the time)
I couldn't get a pic so I didn't post it to the unicorn thread. I figured no one would believe me.
A local has the same car as the original mad max. Its mostly stock, not cut up. So some of them get shipped and licensed.
I keep imagining the possibility of a VK or VL Commodore. I'd definitely want to drive one first though because I have a hunch it's going to drive like a sloppy 4 door 3rd gen F-body.

I'll have to check, but probably.
I saw a double cab older version that looked cool
Also I love the fact that not one person here said I was crazy for thinking of getting a car from Australia.
This place is my style of crazy

You're not crazy, and we would believe you.
I saw this one at Hot Rod Power Tour in June:

There is one that runs around central Kansas also. It is a cut up GTO though, but you wouldn't know it but it was put together with factory pieces. The guy IIRC bought a wreck and then ordered up all the UTE stuff to put it back together. It appears to be totally factory built.
Well if you have a lot of pretty pennies and REALLY want a Holden or Ford Ute...
There's a shop in Colorado that builds 'em. http://www.lefthandutes.com/
But like I said, you'll need some pretty pennies.
You'll need to log in to post.
