trying to determine FMV, can't find any like comps.

engine is a complete 2007 chevy 5.3 with 428k miles and has never been touched. the highest mile ones i can find for sale on ebay have half the miles and are $300.

$300 seems really cheap for a complete engine, I wish those kind of deals existed here.

I'd say 300 is FMV. Really there isn't much value difference once it's over 200k.

With 428k!?!? 100$ seems fair to me with that milage.

Complete oil pan to injectors and all other accessories including wiring harness and ecu or just a long block?

If it is just a long block a couple hundred max complete motor that will run on a stand with all accessories probibly 400-500 maybe more.

The bad neighborhood pick and pull I'm familiar with gets $200 for any engine with accessories, $55 core. One with that many miles might not disappear the same day if everybody who comes across it bothers to boot up the odometer first. I'd figure $250 is fair.

At 428k, id say....whatever a bare Block is worth. E36 M3e just gonna be Worn ojt at That point.

I'm going to concur with the $250 quote. That seems reasonable based on what I've seen.
