Along with sneakers and bookshelf stereos, car radio head units are the worst offenders of good taste. Might as well be rocking a '73 Caddy with dubs and metalflake, too. rolls eyes

I bought a Panasonic for my truck (single DIN) about 8 years ago, and when I sold the truck I swapped the radio the new(er) truck. Only problem I've had with it is at night, most of the lights on the buttons are burned out. Luckily I usually just use the remote anyway.

Alpine used to make some decent units, too.

i really like Jensen's heavy-duty series. Jensen was always junk when I was a kid, but the one i bought is super nice in every way.
