That's one of the rare Homologation models from '83. It might have been worth a (tiny) premium if it was intact, but no reason now not to throw in a more modern powerplant. If you don't like the LSx approach, drop in a Volvo turbo-six from an S80.

It's a turbo.. who knows how abused it was.
I always liked the flatnose/flat hood volvos.
