This reminds me of when Ford dropped Bigfoot. Do they have some sort of budget for non-conventional motorsports that they move around from time to time? They supported Bigfoot for a long time though, like 20-25 years.

He's also got a huge Hoonigan facility to pay for now. "
really doubt this is the case. If hes been good at one thing, its been marketing himself to make money. Im sure hes doing just fine with, or without the money selling this stuff. If i had to guess, he has another deal similar to ford with another brand. So he wouldnt be able to use these cars regardless.

Pretty sure he was independently wealthy long before all this.
A ways back (2009?) he said "hey, let's make a video of me screwing around in my Subaru rally car", people liked it, he made more, he switched to a Ford rally car instead of Subaru, fanboys whined and gnashed their teeth, and Ken went on to Bruce Wayne his way making videos and doing WRC.
I came to read this because I could not figure out why he would sell the RS200. I understand the other two.
My guesses:
1) As part of his 10 year contract there is something of a non-compete that does not allow him to make content with Ford vehicles.
2) Ford wouldn't give him whatever renewal he was seeking, so he is choosing to no longer make content with their vehicles.
3) He has a contract with another manufacturer (he ran a Skoda at 100AW two weeks ago) that prevents him from doing stuff with any other manufacturer's stuff.
4) He is not under contract with anyone. The cars were always owned by Hoonigan, and selling them is freeing up capital to do whatever they have planned next. This one is my best guess.

Oh, I'd only want the RS200 to troll people at rallycrosses.
I'd actually want one of the Fiestas. There's light-years better drivetrain and suspension tech in them.
Although, if I'm reading them right, they are merely Escort WRC chassis (north-south YBB engine) with suspension updates, with a Fiesta body.
LBI limited sure has some cool cars for sale! They're a small shop in Pontiac off woodward avenue, I need to go there and view the Oreca if it's on site. I bet lots of the cars are stored at M1 Concourse though.
Oh forgot to add my obligatory Ken Block hate post: "he's crashed more than he's won!" It will be interesting to see who he ends up with, after his stint in the rental Skoda at 100AW, who knows? Ford clearly wants a more controllable social media star like Gittin Jr. with more PR shine, Block was certainly not comfortable in the spotlight. Or they're all in on focusing on EVs and Block doesn't fit in the picture, again all speculation.
M1 Concourse is basically Detroit Metro 1%er car storage and a place to show off their toys. They have a "road course" which has comically short runoffs, lots of balled up cars. I'd much rather drive waterford hills.
