I haven't, though if you've got one to loan out....... 
At the time I was only considering manual cars, and I think the F-Type R is auto-only. I HAVE driven the V12 Vantage with a manual gearbox though, and that remains my high point.

I think part of my wondering about F-Type vs Vantage V8 would be the reliability and general fit & feel of the interior. It seems like the Vantage V8, from everything I've read, can be a bit needy in the maintenance department. And perhaps the Jag would be a bit better? Hard to know for sure on this issue perhaps.
