I've been frustrated trying to find weights for the 9 inch so I finally got down and weighed one we had in the shop.
Carrier Body: 51 lbs 3rd member with diff: 51lbs Pinion: 17.5lbs Axle: 21lbs Front brake drum cover: 17.5lbs Rear brake drum cover with shoes: 12.5lbs
Total: 204lbs
Note this was an "Big Bearing" 31 spline unit out of an f-100
what did you use for a scale? i've been trying to find a 750 or so lb hanging scale that has good resolution
Just a regular bathroom scale.
