I have owned LPG vehicles in Oz they use more fuel but when tuned right make more power, that said around here I couldn't get fuel. No manual sucks a bit also.

Well, you do it at a station that sells the stuff (we have a few around Oshawa ON, including one just down the street from the local gas utility) and as far as I can tell from casual observation you just hook up a large brass nozzle about as big around as a hot dog and wait. CNG gives you less range than gasoline for a comparable size of tank, so you have to be pretty confident about your sources of supply (as the ad suggests). I did hear at one time that some gas utilities were providing refueling facilities at people's houses, but I don't know if that turned out to be a good idea.

The big thing is that CNG is an extremely clean fuel. Pull a valve cover and it should look like new. These engines should last forever with very little wear and no oil fouling. It's just a bitch to find fuel on the road. Considering that natural gas is fairly plentiful and not expensive, makes you wonder why we can't get it.

Back in school we had a pickup converted to run on CNG. At the time we could refuel it at the local utility company garage or the Long Island Bus depot. Both took an act of God to get an appointment though.
