That's just too much awesome for one car.
I'm gonna have to believe that it has the reliability of a poorly maintained turbo rotary, though, or I'll cry myself to sleep that I can never have one of those here.
Is that some kind of awesome one-off or an actual production model?
I was expecting to see the turbo four since that is all the american sierra had.

Did you notice the Sunroof AND Luggage Rack AND Rear Spoiler AND tow hitch? (on top of the awesome engine swap, 4x4 running gear)

Start crying, you can import an 82 thru 85 models this year (25 year old import reg)
Nittro: the headlights, grill, front bumper, hood vents, lower body cladding are all Cosworth RS500 gear, lots of XR4Tis here in the states have them, wheels can be had, about the only parts requiring specialed sourcing are the suspension bits (not that hard to get here) and the engine/trans, though an LSx would be even more awesome, see here: http://forum.merkurclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12152
Really it's a one off, but almost all of it's bolt in/on

There are a lot of myffs around the engine on those and a lot of them lead to engine rebuilds, much like the rotary myths that haven't been busted in the eyes of the (Intrw3bz, yo) population.
One of the classic ones is that there is supposedly no aftermarket ECU that is "fast enough" to run this engine, 'cos ECUs haven't got any more powerful since the 80s.
One of the real problems with them is that a large part of the remaining ones in the UK have been stolen at least once, crashed (at least once) - you get the picture.

Magazine-worthy.

You realize if you paid full price and had it shipped you're only looking at $9k for that car with shipping...
I strongly considered black marketing one of those and putting XR4Ti vin tags on it. Federal Pound You In The Ass Prison is all that stopped me.

...and then have it sit in a dock-side warehouse until 2017 to import it?
Can't you import one? You just can't use it legally on the road at least that was my understanding of it.
If you guys wanna buy it, I can let you "park" it at my manor house (Dedwydd Lle) in Cornwall for a few years....free.Just leave the keys with Jeeves.

Well if it were registered in GA I doubt you'd have trouble, seeings as we ran our 1986 XR4Ti with a 1985 XR4Ti title and was issued registration until emissions finally became electronic 2 years ago and we had to actually get documentation, yet they're supposed to not issue registration for a 1986+ w/o a title, but it's subjective as I was told by the DMV person over the phone, we had to try twice, but on the second trip into the DMV with our paperwork they gave it to us, talk about greymarket...
