Random Q but does the v10 share a lot with the 5.6-4.6 as far as mounts go? Im going to do a crown vic front end and 4.6 in my f100 and if the 4.6 goes out id love to have the v10 in the old truck!

Not sure about mounts but guys have done swaps in F150s so it can be done. There are easier ways to make power but it would certainly score you some point for uniqueness. 362hp and 457ft/lbs of torque would definitely wake up a F100 chassis.

Thanks wall e, just what I needed to see. Time to start looking for rusted out V10 trucks I guess.

Looked at one V10 Superduty local to me and found it a little too austere (ex-fleet model). Liked it otherwise. Currently waiting to hear back on a mechanic's verdict on a '96 7.3 that I really liked other than it needing a fair amount of cranking before it fired up.
