How many of you faced the possibility, multiple times, of getting your challenge car back?
I wish I had that dream warehouse to store all the cars I want, especially since this one has so many good memories.
Alas, it's just not in the cards for me.
If you are interested, the car is up near Traverse City, now- and the story how it got there was interesting. I have the turbo enigne, though- but the car does run. Outside of that, it's just like we left it when we last competed in 2004- including the #41 on the side. Which is the same picture that was in GRM's list of favorite Challege Cars.
Gotta move on, I suppose.

My challenge car went to China but I got part of it back in the form of a Harbor Freight flashlight.
I bought Jensenmans former challenge car. The last thing he said as we were loading is first dibs if you ever sell it.
The Nissan 343 has been bought and sold all over the place. Everybody seemed to make money off it but me... The body filler should be falling off by now. I'll probably keep Uranus for a while...
When I saw Andy Nelson's barn my comment was that I have to sell a Challenger to finance the next one. He's still got all of his.

I am probably a little different then most people on this subject; in my mind my current challenge car is already for sale, I just need it for a couple more months.
It really only serves a purpose for a single event for me and after that I am pretty sure I will be ready to move on to the next one. I also want a great car with a lot of potential to find a good future home.
In fact, I am actually pretty sure that my next project car will be for sale sometime in the spring of 2014 even though I have not even bought it yet...
