He's saying the Hamster isn't winning this year. While I think Max will still be really strong next season, I really don't think we'll have one driver winning 15 races next year, rather I think there will be a bunch of drivers winning, including some new ones.
Wtf?
Kmag on pole? That is sooo awesome! My mind is bottled.
The best part is that it was straight up in mixed conditions on the same tires as everybody else. Did it on skill alone.
Nice work kmag!

Nice work kmag!
Don't worry, he'll be tenth by the end of the first lap.
No doubt, but you take your small victories when you can. He did the best job under the conditions, during the short window that was available. More power to him. Two thumbs up from me.
That was the best sprint race they've ever had- the amount of passing was a blast!!!
And way to go, George! Won the sprint and got pole for tomorrow. Mercedes looks quite good here- George was pulling from Max from the moment he passed.
Thanks to Carlo's penalty, there are two Mercedes on the front row. (assuming there's not a penalty for Hamilton for start procedure).
Stroll did quite a Vettel move on Vettel.
That was fun to watch, I would've been just as happy to watch that tomorrow though. Even though RB struggled today on the mediums I'm betting what they learned will benefit them tomorrow.
Next year country. RB will suffer a bit from loss of wind tunnel time, Ferrari can start over with some budget room and maybe not blow up so much, and it's looking more like Merc actually has a starting point to build a competitive car.
Sure was nice to see Max have some pressure today. Based on tire choice? Maybe, but he's been one tire step faster than the field all year.

And he has an extra set of soft tires for tomorrow
What are the sprint weekend tire choice rules? Does Merc need to run a medium or hard tomorrow? They have one new, and one scuffed set of softs.
I see RB split the strategy, they probably figured Max wouldn't lose too many positions on the Medium and Checo could make up places on the soft. And they get data for the race at the same time. Of course Carlos taking off that wing endplate didn't help. That car is a beast in a straight line. George could barely pass him with DRS.
I enjoyed that race, especially Carlos pulling a Verstappen on Verstappen :)

That's what I said, nice to see Max get Max'd.

I bet Russell wins in Brazil...
Nice! A sprint win but still a win!
It was an odd fall off of tires for RBR. But may have been a strategic play to have an extra set of softs Sunday?

Ugh. That's disappointing
That was a quick safety car. Riccardo needs to be far more patient- that was a bad move, and it cost Danny just as bad.
Even as a WC, max is still a hack. That was a bad move. Nice of RBR to give him such a fast car so that he didn't need to be near anyone.

Did it seem to anyone else that the sky commentators were being mighty delicate about describing the Max/Ham come-together?
And max gets the 5 second penalty.
The way he didn't hit the brakes and tried to stuff it down in there, he's lucky he's still in the race. Five seconds is light.
I'm a bit surprised Max got a penalty, but I think we just saw a continuation of the amount of respect the Lewis thinks Max is due.
Pretty eventful first few laps. Lots of consequences for Danny for just barely putting his nose in a bit deep, and Charles sure got behind on his steering. Sure didn't expect him to continue in the race.
Rough weekend for Norris- got sick and almost didn't make the weekend, and now he broke down on track. Not a birthday to remember, for sure.
And the full SC really stirs things up. Lewis should at least protect George...
