Since I do not have a TV , what's the best way to watch some of the race ?
I know for LeMans there were some streams of local coverage on YouTube .
it might be more interesting watching practice and see how they drive with cold tires !
Thanks for any ideas

Youtube TV is one easy way to do it (albeit not free). You can watch it on your PC or tablet (or phone, I guess, but that seems awfully tiny for watching F1).
In reply to californiamilleghia :
ESPN+ gives you streaming access to the race and (I think) practice. If you know someone with a Dish or cable subscription, you might be able to use their login as ESPN is often included.

I purchased F1Tv for the year, I enjoy it because I can watch it on my phone, TV, or tablet. So if I am elsewhere which I am at times during the summer I can watch it.
Find a sports bar? One of my buddies is hosting a watch party at a local bar this weekend.
I'm going to stay home to avoid to the $6 beers and $25 Uber ride home.
My wife and I took a chance and are flying into Laughlin, NV (90 minutes from Vegas) and rented a car, with the thought that maybe, just maybe tickets will be cheap enough close to the race. Watching all the videos rolling in about getting around Vegas and the prices of everything, I think we are going to just stay in Laughlin, do some hiking and gambling and will find a sports bar to watch the race. I can play Blackjack for 24 hours straight, eat and drink top shelf food for the cost of one race ticket.

I'll second the F1 TV Pro subscription, much better announcers than Sky/ESPN broadcast. Plus you can watch any of the in-car cameras with team radio. I usually listen to the Max and GP radio show with the race audio in the background.
So I'm seeing that the mouse is trying to latch on to Netflix and have an F1 show- this about Brawn.
And I'm sure they will emphasize that this was a first year team winning the championship in the most unlikely manner.
Which ignores that the team was the exact same Honda team that found a very smart loophole in the rules for the chassis, and the only real barrier to the season was fitting a Mercedes motor into a Honda slot. Or that they had some backing to even build the car that was the natural evolution of the Honda.
I get giving them cred for being champions for the one season the team was named Brawn. But to think this was some amazing, magic in a bottle, etc. thing ignores all of the hard work the Honda team did before the corporate HQ pulled out. And that the team was so good that Mercedes pushed the easy button to get into F1 by buying them out.
I got tired of the DTS series, so have very low expectations of this show.
Third for F1 TV. Looks like you can do a monthly plan for $10. Might be worth signing up for this month to watch Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi. If you don't like it, you can cancel after the races are over. If you do, get the yearly plan as it's only $80.

Stupid question about the F1 streaming service... Is it possible to start watching the race from the beginning even if you join in progress? I've run into that problem with the ESPN app. If I get back from church at 1015 and the race started at 1000, I have to wait until around noon or so so that I can start the stream of the race from the beginning. Any time before that, all I can do is start the stream at Now.
Also, how are they about having a lot of "spoilers" when you're trying to get to the race or qually? I think it was the MSNBC app that would always have some video titled "Lewis Hamilton Wins Chaotic Wherever Race after Surprise Vettel Retirement" or something prominently displayed above the link to the actual race I hadn't watched yet...
In reply to wae :
yep, you can choose to start from the beginning or join live. No spoilers that I've seen in the app
Agreed. No spoilers that I notice. Really nice feature to start at the beginning even when race is live.
I really like f1tv. Although, the search function is kinda crappy to try to find a past race.
In reply to wae :
Agreed, there are no spoilers in the F1TV app, that is really nice. The F1 App avoids spoilers too because once a race is in progress or completed the app has a screen that pops up and you have to say go to the app. I think that is to avoid spoilers anyway.

That's really compelling. I'm pretty sure that I spend well more than $80 a month on my cable TV subscription. And I haven't used it to watch anything other than F1 races in months.
No spoilers. Going to the F1 TV website (where you can also stream from), this is the main page. They show you all the videos they have about the Brazil race, but none of them are spoilers. This is well after the race is over, so if you're watching it the next day or so, you'll be fine.
In reply to wae :
Since I am a racing Junkie I also have a Flo Sports subscription, I know that is off topic but between those 2 apps and YouTube that is all the viewing I need.

This morning I'm told race day grandstand seats are down to $800.

Not only can you start the race anytime you want, the data page and all 20 in-car cameras can be watched anytime as well.
Something I've noticed with the ESPN app lately is that they aren't putting up the replay until at least a day after the event. Unless you want to watch the Spanish language broadcast.
I do hate how the replays are below the highlights on the app as well.
Firestick with my sister's cable login, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
Has anyone been able to watch the Brawn movie yet by Keanu Reeves? It says it's available on Disney + but I don't see it, even in a search???

I'm currently on episode 4 of the BrawnGP doc, it's pretty good and you will learn lots of stuff you probably didn't know before

Is anyone else thinking the impending low temperature Las Vegas event is going to be more of a parade than a race?
Or is Pirellli going to surprise everyone with a low temp compound that gives grip in the mid 40's (F) temps expected at race time?
Another option is they go for it and have a massive crash that cuts the field in half and delays the race an hour for cleanup.

I have no idea how it's going to go. I'm hoping the new track and cold conditions even the field a bit more. Kinda like a rain race. I don't think Pirelli's contract allows them to create special tires for a single race. The tires for this race are the three softest in the suite, which should help temp, but the changing track surfaces might chew them up more.
Will it be more parade-ish? Maybe. I don't know that it'll be any worse than some of the other tracks on the schedule.
Unlike what the internet seems to indicate, I have pre-decided the race is going to stink. I'm going to watch it with just as much interest as I do with other races, if not just a bit more because it's a new track to all the teams and the lights should make it more entertaining.
