Aston Martin has named Andy Cowell as Team Principal in addition to his responsibilities as CEO.
Haas has announced its first-ever TPC (Testing of Previous Cars) at the Circuito de Jerez this week.
The FIA has gone bonkers. .
"Reports say that the governing body’s sporting code for 2025 has introduced a new framework for penalising any language that’s deemed ‘offensive, insulting, coarse, rude or abusive’ or anything deemed to have caused ‘moral injury’ to the FIA."
Huge fines, possible 1 month driving ban. This is crazy
Maybe Max will get fed up by this a retire.

I'm up.to Germany 16 now. Nico just dominated Lewis the first third of the season. Lewis is fighting back now, it's easy to see Nico is feeling the pressure.
It's really nice to have racing to watch in the dark, cold winter.

If this is true Jack has his back against the wall.
One thing is for sure, he will be under immense pressure right from the start of the season.
Not sure this is news, but I guess I saw it coming: https://sports.yahoo.com/report-espn-tells-formula-1-it-wont-renew-its-us-tv-deal-at-the-end-of-2025-134636618.html

For all of F1s effort, they should have tried harder with espn, given they are the giant for sports. Going to a streaming service will hurt bad- undercutting the effort for Miami and Vegas.

I was wondering when I was going to have to start paying for the privilege (beyond cable) of watching F1.
I was thinking of paying for F1TV this year anyway. $85 for the whole year, stream the races anytime at my convenience, onboards, etc, seems pretty good. Anyone else have it?

I have F1tv,love it actually.
Lots of seperate tech info, all 3 practices etc,F2 and F3,every season archived.
F1tv is the best deal in television. On a per hour basis, I am sure I was under fifty cents an hour at the end of the season, and I've watched 2014, 15 and 16 this off season.
I enjoy almost all of the on air people, and as long as they don't hire Danica away from Sky, it will be good.
Ugh, I've liked the truly ad-free experience on ESPN. The NBC coverage was terrible, putting a little thumbnail of cars on a track in the corner of the screen while you yell at me about the fact that you can watch F1 on NBC is not showing the race without interruption. Because I have EPSN+, I can watch the race later if I missed it.
Not thrilled about having to pay for Yet Another Streaming Service either. I guess the ESPN deal was too good to be true.
I'm an F1 fan but not obsessive. I usually watch the race live if it doesn't get in the way of the rest of my day, and if not there's about a 50% chance I'll watch it later. I don't go back and watch old ones, I don't rewatch races from different viewpoints, I'm good with the Sky commentators (more so than I was with the NBC crew). Given the choice between spending $85+/year to watch races and doing something else, I may do something else.

All this, agreed.

Have it and love it. As a bonus, I never have to listen to Danica give commentary. Instead they have hinchcliffe who is so much better.
I'm on the fence this year. Since the '21 BS, I've boycotted it (even though I've been watching it since '73, yes, when I was 7), but now that Lewis is at Ferrari, I may watch a race or 2. Until RBR gets a massive hit ot the "titles" are properly removed from Max, it's still WWE on wheels.
In reply to Docwemple :
While I more or less share your views you've missed quite alot of good racing with your boycott.......

I love F1 TV. You even have a choice of 2 different commentators feeds. I think it is the UK & international feed. I prefer the default feed.

All 20 Drivers. All 10 Teams. UNVEILED. | F1 75 Live at The O2 They are really trying to make it a show, with the roasting, and music. I feel bad that they already on Jack D, about the Calpinto signing, they are going to be relentles about it, hopefully they won't ask him after each session this year.
