Seems like a combination of luck and insane amounts of horsepower.

That's pretty amazing.  That's like that English downhill cheese wheel race, but with cars.

I bet there are a lot of open trailers in that pit. Have you ever tried to put a demolished car in an enclosed trailer? It isn't super fun. A lot easier to have the wrecker set it down on the open trailer and strap it down...

My dad watches those nutballs. Much nitrous, big cubes, wild tires, and an apparent desire to inflict self harm.
I don't think I'd have the stones. Friggin Vikings.

I kinda want to see what it looks like when things don't go pear shaped. Or do they always end up coming downhill backwards and upside down?

I've been watching this series on the 'tubes lately. The little buggies are badass

The rock-bouncers here in the states have had them over a few times.  The FOR guys have brought their cars to some of the events in Tennessee that I know of.  Shipping must be crazy expensive.

I've watched Formula off road several times. Crazy Vikings, indeed!

Most still use American pushrod V8’s.  Some have gone to turbo’d smaller engines.  The cost on the American V8 stuff must be enormous over there in Scandinavia.

On an interesting side note, I remember when Sonny Leonard (“Mountain Motor” king) out of Lynchburg, Virginia said that most of his engines were exported to Oz.
